Born in Hong Kong, Kit Fan now lives and works in York. He won a Times/Stephen Spender Prize for Poetry in Translation and his first book of poems Paper Scissors Stone won the inaugural International HKU Poetry Prize. He has been shortlisted in The Guardian/4th Estate BAME Short Story Prize. His second book of poems As Slow As Possible will be published by Arc Publications in the UK in 2018.
