James Au Kin-Pong, a master graduate of both Hong Kong Baptist University and School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), is currently working on the narrative to analyse historical fictions both in Japanese and English. His research interests include Asian literatures, historical novels and comparative literature. During his leisure time, he writes poems and fictions using different languages, and translates poems into English. His latest project is to finish a Japanese novel in about three hundred thousand words.
